I was raised by liberal and loving parents in southern California. I moved to Santa Cruz for college and earned a bachelor’s degree in psychobiology. During the 90’s I attended many raves, house parties, and Grateful Dead concerts while DJing in Santa Cruz and San Francisco. I began work at Adobe Systems in 1999 and was a QE Manager for Acrobat 3D & Flash for the past 4 years. I am currently on hiatus working towards a position as a technology analyst. On the side, I’ve produced electronic music while blogging and twittering through various masks. My core interest is in the intersection of the human organism and our cultural and technological extrusions, and how this dynamic unfolds through the course of our evolution.
I live in Santa Cruz with my awesome partner, Andrea, and our 4 cats. I don’t really ever want to leave. If it were a little warmer and the surf stayed all year round, it would be perfect.
